To Rachel Corrie with love

Would your death, dear Rachel, wake the dead

World who watches our death sleeping in its bed ?

Would the world remain silent and continues to be mislead

And with lies, hypocrisy and ignorance continues to be fed ?

Would your death, sweet Rachel, be another number

Added to the long list of martyrs and freedom fighters ?

No shame, no decency in the faces of those who govern

No humanity, no courage in the hearts of the occupiers

Would your death, humane Rachel, beautiful flower

Be transformed in a threat to all those who search the honor ?

Those who come from abroad defying the power

To rescue their fellow brothers despite differences of color ?

Sweat, precious, dear Rachel

May the birds continue to sing your name

And the flowers nourished by your treasured blood

Illuminate in the darkness of the world all around

And your spirit continues to fly above our land

And our prayers accompany you, through the ocean and its sand

And our grief would envelop your soul like a perfume in pain

With all your fellow martyrs in the sky above

Be happy with all the martyrs of Palestine

Walk with them, hand by hand

Love is universal, love is humane

Forces of occupation, shall be erased by the rain

Dear Craig, dear Cindy and the family Corrie

Words seem to be meaningless
Rachel has believed in a better future for human beings, and for life in
this world
Rachel has taught those hypocrites behind there masks of diplomacy what is
to defend those who are left without protection
In Aida camp, we didn't know Rachel, but we knew other internationals and
ISMs who came to Aida Camp-Bethlehem and slept in our houses in days where
the Israeli helicopters were shooting at everything in the camp... We knew
these people and they became part of us, part of our lives and history... We
remember every single one of them... We loved them as they loved us...

So, when words are incapable to express what we feel towards this crime, we
just say, consider our children as yours', consider our houses as yours'
and you are welcome to share with us the bit we have... We loved Rachel
without knowing her,
We knew her actions, as we know your strength and the great love you have in
your hearts...
Accept our love and our hope that Rachel's sacrifice would make a change in
this silent world...
