“The
besieged in the holiest place for the Christian world, the place
were Jesus was born, a place were the messenger of love to all
the humanity has sent the light to illuminate a world in darkness,
a church kept under a monstrous siege, denied food and medication,
denied humanity and human treatment, denied the basic elements
in a war situation, denied religious rights, denied the most
holy and undeniable right of refuge in the church, and still
no real action
of any Christian authority of the world have taken place… And
still the cowboy, the fighter of the good against evil, the
little god of the new world talk about evil itself as “a man
of peace”…. No wonder then that the church and what it represents
is terror in itself, Jesus was the first terrorist in this new
world.
We affirm
here that:
- We refuse entirely the Israeli conditions
- We call for full withdrawal of the
Israeli occupation army, including the presidential Palace
(moqata’a) in Ramallah
- We call upon the protection of the
whole Christians and the world, the highest Christian responsible
and particularly the Vatican and Jean Paul II,
- We are ready and willing to stay
for the eternity in this place till a right and just solution
is reached
- We hold Israelis responsible of
the continuous humiliations, assassinations and inhuman treatment
we suffer here.
- Negotiations are only a waste of
time that cover what Israelis are doing to us
- We hold all those who watch in silence
responsible as well for their complicity with the Israeli
offensive army…
We here
make this appeal, and send this message to the whole world,
good and evil together, religious or not, that all of you take
full responsibility of the massacre that could take place at
anytime. We are resistants, in complete rightness of our cause,
defending our invaded country by an army of brigands and occupation;
we are civilians and religious, who took refuge in the house
of God, and hold you responsible for your silence and your complicity
with this army of terror. We are not criminals, and we refuse
categorically to be treated as such, and we refuse any humiliating
offer that will reduce our case to only a humanitarian case.
We ask you
all to choose between justice and injustice, between humanity
and inhumanity… make it once in your life…. Once in your human
life… make the choice”
